5.0 Overview

There are two main areas for trailer parking and decanting of boats. At the race finish (Creswick Street, Hawthorn) and at the race start (Boathouse Drive, Melbourne).

5.1 Hawthorn end of Course

Boat trailer parking at Hawthorn in Creswick Street needs to be pre-booked .  Creswick Street will be closed to public access from 1pm on Thursday 26th November and will reopen at 4pm on Saturday 28th November. Between those times only trailers that have confirmed bookings will be able to access Creswick Street. Access to Yarra Bank Reserve in Hawthorn is also restricted from 8am on Thursday 26th November.

HAWTHORN END TRAILER PARKING - REQUESTS FOR CRESWICK STREET SPACES (Complete Form)

5.2 CITY END OF COURSE

BOATHOUSE DRIVE WILL BE CLOSED from 6.30am on Saturday 28th November, so competitors and spectators should make alternative arrangements for parking. The car parks at Southbank and Alexandra Avenue are probably the best option. 

It is highly recommended that those Clubs wishing to bring their boat trailers into the regatta do this by 4pm on Friday 21th November.  Access for boat trailers will close at 6.30am on Saturday 28th November.

Boat racking will be not be provided in the city precinct.
