2.0. ENTRY Information

Information for all entries:

  • 2021 Entry opens on July 1st and close on Monday 18th October 2021 9.00am, or earlier when the cap of 180 crews is reached.

  • All Australian crew entry via ROWING MANAGER

  • International crew entry is via email. See further below for details.

  • Get in early to avoid disappointment as entries are capped at 180 on first come basis.

  • Waitlist will apply for entries received after the cap is reached.

  • Crews can only race once in the event due to the nature of the race.

  • All Australian entrants must be a member of an affiliated club.

  • Composite crews may be represented in Masters, Mixed and the Open categories as well as "school/club composite". Composite is not the B (Intermediate) or C (Novice) categories.

  • All entrants must wear their club attire. Composite crews therefore will be displaying multiple uniforms.

2.1. SEAT ENTRY FEES

Seat entry Fee for 2021 is $60

Your seat entry fee includes: commemorative t-shirt for each competitor; one regatta program per crew; and medallion for each member of a winning crew.

No deposit is required for bow numbers.  Each crew will be issued with a bow number which will be retrieved by volunteers on the HRC landing at the end of the race; and two disposable numbers which must be attached to the rear of zoot suits of both the bow rower and coxswain before the race commences.        

2.2. Entries from Australian crews

All Australian entries must be made via ROWING MANAGER . Rowing Manager will be invoiced directly by Rowing Victoria.        

2.3. Entries from International crews

International entries may be made via email to Rowing Victoria. Email laura@rowingvictoria.asn.au

  • Be sure to complete all sections of the entry form.

  • Be sure to include year of birth data for all participants in Masters and Mixed Crews.

  • Be sure to include each crew member's t-shirt size

2.4. Acceptance of eNTRies and Late Entries

The total number of entries will be capped at 180 on a first come basis. There is no separate allocation of entries for Open crews.

Late entries will be accepted if the cap is not reached. Last entries may also be placed on a waitlist (if any) for places.

Late entries will be ranked at the back of the starting grid in the entered class., in chronological order of entry, earliest entry first.

2.5. Key Timelines for Entry and draw

Monday 18th October - Entries close 9.00am - 6 weeks prior to race day

Monday 1st November - Race operational costs locked in. No refund policy after this date if there is an unforeseen cancellation required.

Tuesday 9th November - Provisional race draw available on Rowing Victoria website. Competitors are invited to review the provisional draw and advise of any issues/concerns.

Thursday 11th November. Submission from competitors re advise/concerns on the provisional draw required by 5.00pm close for consideration.

Friday 19th November. Final draw posted on Rowing Victoria website. No crews changes will be accepted from this point that alter the race category of the crew concerned.
